Profile · the spine

One profile of you. The spine every Move reads from.

Not a resume replacement. Not a public bio. A living record of who you are, what you've done, and where you're going. Every Scout, every Forecast, every Craft reads from it.

How it works

Everything writes in. Every screen reads out.

If I can't read from or write back to your profile, I'm not actually getting smarter about you. So I made it the spine of the whole system.

Writes in

The profile updates from every corner of the app.

  • Onboarding. Name, school, field, graduation year, target role, where you are right now.
  • Profile editor. Add a project, a skill, a certification, a fact.
  • Chat. Tell me something true in conversation, I save it as a durable fact and confirm with a toast.
  • Resume import. Upload a PDF, I hydrate your education, experiences, and projects.
  • Status flips. "I got a job," "I lost a job," "I started an internship." Mode changes carry across.
  • Tracker outcomes. Every offer, rejection, and stage move teaches me something.
Reads from

Every Move and every surface reads from the same record.

  • Scout reads your profile against a role for the fit read.
  • Forecast factors in your field, your skills, your stage.
  • Craft writes resumes only from facts in your profile (Truth Ledger).
  • The Picks feed ranks roles against your profile, not against everyone else's.
  • Chat opens with your full profile in context, so the first message can be one word.
  • Tracker, Calendar, Skills. All keyed to your profile and your stage.

Why it compounds.

A stronger profile makes every downstream read sharper. Better context turns into stronger Scout reads. More specific projects turn into sharper Craft bullets. Real wins turn into smarter Forecast advice.

You don't have to repeat yourself. You tell me something once, in chat or in the editor, and from then on I act on it everywhere. The app feels more aligned after each useful interaction, not equally shallow forever.

A few things to be clear about

What your profile isn't.

Not a public resume. Your profile is private to your account. I never publish it, never share it with recruiters, never sell it.
Not a static bio. It's a living record that updates as your career does. Every fact you add changes what I can do for you tomorrow.
Not training data. Your profile and resumes don't train external models. The Anthropic provider doesn't see inference data either.
